This week I came across the blog post titled “Genealogy Road Trip – Part Ten” which documented what sounds like a fabulous road trip to Springfield, Illinois. Lots of history, especially of President Abraham Lincoln, of course; but also gives you a sense of how great planning and implementing a genealogy road trip can be! ‘Part Ten’ seems to indicate there should be Parts 1-9, right?  Well, there are! So today, I’m not only giving you one Fabulous Friday Find…but 10! Too easy!  Just scroll down to the bottom of ‘Part Ten’ for links to other posts that take you on a journey through Indiana and Ohio.

In Part Four, the author says this about her Genealogy Road Trip: “I was up bright and early on Tuesday, July 12, ready for an adventure I had spent the previous fifteen years dreaming about!”  What a great adventure it must have been!
